“LetterAltura”, Festival of mountain literature, travel and adventure returns to Verbania from June 25 – 29, arriving in Domodossola on July 5 – 6, landing in Valle Strona on July 12 – 13 and finishing up on July 19 – 20 in the Valli Antigorio and Formazza. The setting is the Lago Maggiore, Lago d’Orta and surrounding valleys, lands that have inspired novelists, essayists and musicians. This 2nd edition will be bringing attention to the mountains as a global priority for humanity with over 75 events such as encounters with writers, shows, creative workshops and more than 130 Italian and international guests. Once again, many writers, journalists, artists and photographers from all over the world will be arriving in Verbanio Cusio Ossola for a celebration involving more than 200 volunteers from the entire territory. From breakfast in the morning to the late night show, the public can converse with protagonists of these encounters, sharing their passion for the mountains, memories of unforgettable trips and sensations of awe-inspiring adventures with them.
