Colle del Nivolet

For Ferragosta and for every Sunday from the 13rd of July to the 31st of August, the final six kilometers of Strada Provincial no. 50 on Colle del Nivolet will be closed to private car traffic. The initiative “A piedi tra le nuvole”, in fact, intends to promote a knowledgeable tourism aimed at protecting the fauna and flora of the Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso. With a program chock-full of meetings and opportunities - which span from free activities with Guides such as brief topical excursions in order to discover the environments found at high elevations to aperitifs, to tastings, and much more - the event offers visitors an opportunity, which can not be duplicated, to learn about and stand up for this corner of paradise among the clouds, in the heart of the Piemonte side of the Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso.
