For the past seven years Grugliasco has hosted the International Festival “Sul Filo del Circo” and for almost three years the Cirko Vertigo School as well. An authentic Italian magnet of contemporary circus has come about from the union of these two realities. More and more show business personalities attend and scout for new talents ready for their big debut. The guest companies arriving on purpose for their “artistic christening” hail from Spain, Australia, Poland, Italy, Mozambique, England, France, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Rumania, Portugal, Brazil, Norway, Switzerland, Finland and Sweden. Talents from the school, Sonics, Don Pasta and Teatro Necessario, the last of which was the winner of the Premio Giovani Artisti 2007 (Young Artist Award), add to the list.
