Festival Musica Antica a Magnano

Since 1986, the Festival created by the Associazione Musica Antica (Ancient Music Association) in Magnano has presented a series of events that offer an opportunity to listen to the most beautiful scores of ancient music, interpreted by the most able, internationally recognized musicians of the genre on original instruments or copies of them. The 22nd Festival is presenting 7 musical dates to the public in a discovery of composers such as M. Ossete, A. Soler, A. Rodriguez de Hita, P. Esteve, Beethoven, Türk, Mozart, Bach, and others. The performances by Ana Maria Fernandez, Luisa Morales, Trio Claviere, Diabolus in musica, Gustav Leonhardt, Luca Scandali, Bernard Brauchli, Bettina Hoffmann and Giulia Nuti, are made even more thrilling by their settings: some in the Romanesque church of San Secondo and some in the Baroque parish church of San Giovanni Battista.
