“Mistà” is a word that means sacred image in the Occitan language and the goal of this Festival is that of familiarising people, or better yet, helping them rediscover the valleys in the Cuneo area with concerts and cultural encounters. The festival unwinds along a path that leaves from the city of Saluzzo with the inaugural concert by Enrico Rava, to then continue on to the Varaita, Gran and Maira valleys as well as the city of Busca, to end in Cuneo, still in the company of Enrico Rava. Each concert will be performed in highly evocative locations with a unique atmosphere. This is a Festival that grants the public an up-close dialogue with music, a chance to hear these artists in an “intimate” context: much different than that which is usually the case in regards to musicians like Enrico Rava, Enrico Pieranunzi and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia string quartet.
