Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli - Via Nizza 230
from 05.08.2008 to 16.11.2008
A movie, “Furtivo” tells the dreamlike story of a man who brings his dream to life by way of drawings, models and 3D images that become real objects. The protagonist, musician Sébastien Tellier, also the soundtrack’s composer, takes a trip from land (the Lingotto) to sea by car, on horseback and on the Stealth, a regatta boat belonging to Giovanni Agnelli. Stealth is the English translation of the Italian word Furtivo. Following the film, an exhibit set up with a series of large images out of paper – Papiers -, inside wooden boxes whose subject content is pieces of Lingotto and Stealth architecture. To further enhance the exhibit, four pieces of sculpture: Amish Vibration, Amish, Amish Boccioni and Large Carriage – created with a 3D stereo lithography technique, thanks to which digital data elaborated by software are converted into tri-dimensional objects.
