Enrico Paulucci Retrospective Exhibition
Palazzo Mathis
from 08.09.2008 to 31.10.2008
Each of Paulucci’s (Genova 1901 – Torino 1999) most significant phases of artistic research are well documented in this exhibition of over 50 oil paintings, 15 tempera plus about ten sketches. There are landscapes (Seascapes from Liguria with ports and boats in particular), still lifes, indoor scenes and figures of particular relevance like those dating back to the 1930’s. The “Periodo dei Sei” is very well represented as are a group of paintings with an almost abstract content from the 1960’s. Among the works on display: “Inverno del Po a Torino”(1931) and “Camera del cornomanno” (1947) , “Cappotto rosso” and “Ragazza americana” (1950).
