55 concerts, two mini-festivals dedicated to Bach and the violin, an unusual tribute to Puccini for the 150th anniversary of his birth, the “Sunday” series and much more: the Unione Musicale 2008 – 2009 season is attracting large audiences of fans but is also familiarising the newcomer crowd to “serious music”. The concert agenda, which ranges from Mozart to Beethoven, from Brahms to Strauss and so forth, is also reserving plenty of space to more sophisticated programmes and young artists and groups.
