Peter Pan, the box office record-breaking hit, will open the Teatro Sociale “G. Busca” di Alba’s 2008 – 2009 season. The excellent playbill offers classical and contemporary drama with a section, added this year, dedicated to comedy: “Risata d’Autore” with Giobbe Covatta, Angela Finocchiaro, Enzo Iacchetti and Ottavia Piccolo, all of whom will be committed to shows penned by great writers. This season’s pride and joy is the “Events” section, which will be embracing some of the international theatre scene’s most original pieces with such masters as Tomáš Kubínek and the great British director Peter Brook.
