Giovedì Scienza is converting the Colosseo of Torino into an extraordinary science lab. Among numerous debates, workshops, video-projections, theatrical dramatisations, film clips and slides, this initiative helps satisfy extravagant curiosities as well as shedding light on doubts that too often remain unsolved: why is the sky blue? How to free ourselves from our dependency upon fossil fuels? What is an MRI? Do words and rituals change the chemistry of our brains? Here to answer these questions are illustrious members of the Italian and international scientific community, from Nobel prize winner in Chemistry Richard R. Ernst to journalist and writer Piero Angela, from astronomer Margherita Hack to mathematician Piergiorgio Odifreddi and even more.
