Insoliti – Corti d’Autore attempts to open the doors not only to companies along the official circuits, but independent realities that operate in the field of contemporary dance as well. The idea is one of brief performance, thus called “corto” (brief) dance, capable of offering an “instantaneous” overview of European art dance blended with live music and video installations. This year, the festival is celebrating its sixth year and has received distinguished acknowledgement by becoming a part of the interregional project “Spazi per la Danza Contemporanea” (spaces for Contemporary Dance), created and prompted by the Regione Lazio, Regione Piemonte, Regione Campania in collaboration with the Minister for Cultural Assets and Activities, managed by ETI (Italian Theatre Board).
