Da Avondo a Zorio
La Giardiniera

From the unification of Italy to World War I. The Giardiniera at Settimo will be hosting the first portion of an exhibit that is split into three successive expositions, narrating the history of painting and sculpture in Piemonte over the past 150 years. Included among the Contemporary Arts initiative, “Da Avondo a Zorio” will be presenting more than 70 works by over 50 local artists. Delleani, Pellizza da Volpedo, Avondo; the futuristic and divisionist experiences of Cesare Bertea, Marco Calderini, Giuseppe Cominetti and many others are also featured. A body of works capable of exalting brightness and colour in order to restore an intimate and peculiar physiognomy to reality. The exhibit can be viewed Tuesdays through Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
