'900. Cento Anni di Creatività in Piemonte

In Alessandria, the section of the exhibit set up in Palazzo del Monferrato explores painting in Piemonte in the early twentieth century, from Morbelli to Pellizza da Volpedo, Carrà, Chessa and Casorati, while Palazzo Cuttica features the protagonists of art produced in the province of Alessandria, in an selection from public art collections, from Bozzetti and Morando to Dina Bellotti, Fallini, Porta, Marchelli and Maddalena Sisto. At the Museo dei Campionissimi in Novi Ligure are the works of the second half of the century, from Spazzapan to Merz, Mastroianni, De Maria and Salvo. The other two exhibitions testify to the importance of Piemonte in the field of sculpture and in contemporary installations – from Mainolfi to Grassino, Viale, Bolla and Todaro – at the Movicentro in Acqui Terme, and in those of tempera, watercolour and drawings – from Bistolfi to Pistoletto, Boetti, Cremona and Paulucci – at the oratory of San Bartolomeo in Valenza.
