Included in this fair’s rich menu are theme lunches and dinners by the most famous chefs in the province of Bra, who have dreamed up dishes based on the sausage of Bra, letting themselves go in interpretations that are daring and imaginative. In the pavilion of the “mercato coperto” in Piazza XX September is the reproduction of a farm that includes all of the typical farm animals of the region: cattle, pigs, and barnyard animals. In honour of the occasion the newly-renovated municipal slaughterhouse is also open to the public, while in the “Movicentro” there is a place for all the traditional flavours of the areas of the Langhe and Roero, giving rise to a “Palazzo dei sapori”, a veritable palace of flavours, where the aromas of truffles and bread mingle with those of cured meats and salami, with the different kinds of wine and sweetness of cheese, a space where you can taste and take home some of the most important products of Piemonte oenology and gastronomy.
