Fiera del Bue Grasso di Carrų

The Fiera di Carrù celebrates the triumph of the Piemonte breed of cattle. Begun almost a century ago, the event has become a traditional appointment for commerce and folklore for the entire Langa, and for all lovers of excellent beef. Only live cattle of the Piemonte breed are permitted to participate, and these are divided into various categories. As is by now customary, dozens and dozens of head of cattle compete for the three main prizes for fatted cattle: Bue grasso nostrano, Bue grasso migliorato e Bue grasso della coscia.
