Marginalia XI
Another date with the theatrical event that for the past eleven years has been giving space and the possibility of being seen. On stage at Torino’s Teatro Espace, “Marginalia” presents shows that range from social theatre to dance, from music to Chinese art, from the great classics to texts that have never been presented to the public before.
Assemblea Teatro: Insolito
The Assemblea Teatro is presenting an extremely varied playbill for the 2008-2009 season: historical sets, new productions, an exhibit dedicated to an Hispanic audience, an international tour, many Sunday mornings in the theatre and numerous other surprises.
Teatro Stabile di Torino
Curtains in theatres will be rising on the 2008 – 2009 season with actors at the Carignano, directors at the Limone, authors at the Godetti, being contemporary at the Vittoria, great sets at the Nuovo, workshops at the Astria and the prestigious stage of Torino’s Teatro Stabile.

Torino Spettacoli has been promoting the good habit of going to the theatre for the past thirteen years. With its full and engaging scheduling and international flair, it is exciting audiences that are in constant growth always more diverse. Performances on the playbill are at the Erba, Alfieri and Gioiello theatres.
Teatro Regionale Alessandrino
Here is the 2008 – 2009 season of the Teatro Regionale Alessandrino (Alessandria Regional Theatre): from “Ottobre Teatro” (October Theatrefest) to the co-production of “Uncle Vanya” with the Teatro Stabile, from the “Viaggiatori di Pianura”(Plains Travellers) and “SynagoSyty” tours to the season of shows in Alessandria and Valenza theatres right up to live performance – school and cinema.
2008 – 2009 at the Theatre “G. Busca”
The season at the Teatro di Alba is presenting an agenda filled with proposals for all tastes, with such artists as Arturo Brachetti, Giobbe Covatta, Alessandro Gasmann and many more. Among the performances-events: Peter Brook’s “Fragments” and Tomáš Kubínek’s “Certified Lunatic and Master of the Impossible”.

E’(C)Centrico 2008
The exhibit dedicated to the performing arts organised by the CAOS body shops is open from October 10 – December 20, 2008 in Torino. Presenting two shows every evening, “E’(C)Centrico stimulates a comparison between what is happening in the field of artistic and theatrical innovation on an international level and what is taking place at the same time in Torino.
La città dell’uomo
Lovetech, love in the technological era: this is the theme of the 4th edition of the theatre festival organised by the TeatroInRivolta Association. Open to various scenic and expressive trends, the città dell’uomo (City of Man) adopts the theatre as an instrument of promotion of an artistic, civil and social dimension.
Minus You Too
Judith Rohrbach, Marcello Serafino, Manfredi Perego, Ondina Mohammed and Violetta Spataro tell the story of five characters, guests of the former la Paz Motel, whose paths cross with the sad fate of that of a dog that is about to be put to sleep. They shed their own loneliness and open their lives towards others.
Sulle labbra degli alberi
A show that travels through time and space, from the woods at home in Amazonia searching for its soul in the heart of the forest. A show that feeds on the music and sounds of the ground and wood, uniting Africa, Central America and Brazil, telling stories of slavery, cultural blends and fusions.

La “Bollente” di Acqui Terme
This is an elegant, octagonal temple-structure inaugurated in 1879. This eclectic structure has a spring where sulfuric-salty-bromine-iodic water flows at a temperature of 74.5 degrees Celsius.
Villa Scott
The little manor house, one of the most important examples of Torino Liberty architecture, is linked to the name of Dario Argento who set his film, “Profondo Rosso” (“Deep Red”) here – perhaps his most emotional film and the one with the strongest visual effects.
Biblioteca Reale di Torino
The Biblioteca Reale (Royal Library) houses important collections of manuscripts, illuminated manuscripts, and engravings. Besides its 2,000 drawings, it has several drawings by Leonard Da Vinci, among which are: the Self-Portrait, the Volto dell’Angelo (the Angel’s Face), the preliminary drawing for the Vergine delle Rocce (Virgin of the Rocks), and the Codice sul Volo (Codex on the Flight of Birds).
