Places
Castello di Agliè
This sumptuous home was built, beginning in 1646 following a design by Amedeo di Castellamonte, by Filippo d’Aglie, statesman, literary man, choreographer, and adviser to Madama Reale, on the ruins of an ancient fortress.
Castello di Costigliole d’Asti
Surrounded by a large park, the castle houses an international cooking school and the annual “asta del Barbera” (“Barbera auction”) which has become a not-to-miss event for fans of quality wine.
Savoy Residences
Represent an ideal summary of art, culture and landscape. The 15 Savoy Residences, acknowledged by UNESCO in 1997 as World Heritage sites, represent an artistic and cultural legacy not only for the Piemonte region, but for all of Europe as well.

People
Roberto Capucci
“Torino is an aristocratic city, not a scoundel. You natives are spared because there is not too much tourism and this is a great fortune. There is a class to this city that no longer exists elsewhere. I’m reminded of a woman like Rita Levi Montalcini, for whom I have designed over 50 dresses”.
Ginevra Di Marco
“Now I am going to discover Piemonte. The tradition of Torino is not one I know well. But I do know it is very rich.”
Roberto Herlitzka
“Since I do not suffer from long term black outs, I cannot state that Torino seems to have changed. It looks the same with its metaphysic atmosphere and many things evoke memories.”
