Bognanco
Tracing the Bogna river back to its source, we come to a beautiful unspoilt valley, thickly wooded with chestnut and fir trees, rising up to an altitude of 700metres. This is the location of the century old Bognanco Terme Spa.
Here visitors can find physical health and deep relaxation: this spa has created a perfect balance between excellent therapeutic treatments and the peace of a uniquely beautiful setting. Discovered in 1863 the Bognanco thermal springs have three sources: San Lorenzo, Ausonia and Gaudenziana. The mineral content of these waters makes them particularly effective for the treatment of disorders of the digestive system, liver, bile duct, and chronic stomach ailments. The Bognanco spring waters are used in a variety of treatments: from inhalations to hydromassage. A dip into the spa pool (constant temperature - 32 degrees) is refreshing and reinvigorating.
