Cutting down the distance separating the musician from “living” Jazz, rather than simply listening to it is JCT’s purpose. Ever since 2005, the club has been proposing a jazz reality of great value, with artists and orchestras of national and international renown (Dusko Gojkovich, Scott Hamilton, Gianni Basso, George Robert, Mario Rusca and many more) by aiming at a constant activity capable of creating and enhancing meeting places and moments of Torino and Piemonte’s artistic base. Side activities such as a centre of documentation, research and publications about Jazz as well as collaborations and exchanges with the purpose of projecting the city into an international artistic and cultural dimension enrich an already intense concert programme.
