Mottarone

Skiing on the Mottarone makes it possible to embrace the Lake of Orta and Lake Maggiore will your eyes, but also to gaze as far as the Ligurian Apennines and Swiss Alps, the Po Valley Plain and the Massif of Monte Rosa. An unbeatable view which accompanies the descent on snow which witnessed the first Italian Giant slalom and which continues to be served by excellent level facilities. 7 ski-lifts make it possible to ski on 21 km distributed among 21 downhill runs suitable for all kinds of skiers, from beginners to experts. Don’t miss the Alpe Corti ski run, which winds from the top of the Mottarone to a panoramic arrival point in the biggest lake district in Northern Italy. 2.5 km long, it features schuss and walls that are unforgiving on the legs. The artificial snow system covers the Baby 1, Campetti Milanesi, Selva Spessa, Training and Rosso-Selva Link runs, for a total of over 5 km of tracks.
