Frabosa Soprana

Frabosa Soprana lies on the slopes of Monte Moro and has been a widely appreciated destination for winter tourism since right after the Second World War, when skiing was popular on the slopes of Monte Moro, served by the chair-lift of the same name, one of the first in the whole of Italy. It can currently rely on 50 km of runs for downhill skiing and snowboarding and a link with the other systems in the Mondolè Ski district, made possible thanks to the Malanotte-Prel chair-lift, which joins Frabosa Ski with the resort of Prato Nevoso. Besides the classic lift structures, Frabosa also has a shuttle service linking the departure of the Paskireaux chair-lift with that of the Burrino chair-lift, and a snowmobile service which joins Cima Malanotte with the peak of Monte Moro. Younger skiers can take advantage of the Mongrosso and Campetto baby slopes, while more expert skiers can descend the “reds” of Pian Brun and Monte Moro or tackle the “black” run of the Muro Malanotte. The Mongrosso area is home to Frabolandia, the play park at Frabosa Soprana also open during the winter which offers an ice rink, a snow tube, a bobsled run and an area for hiring snowmobiles and devalkarts.

By plane: Genova C. Colombo (150 km), Milano Malpensa (230 km), Torino Caselle (130 km)
By train: Torino-Savona railway line, Mondovì station and bus as far as Frabosa Soprana
By car: A6 motorway Torino-Savona, Mondovì exit, drive heading towards Mondovì-Villanova Mondovì on SP 5, from Villanova take SP 37 heading towards Frabosa Sottana - Frabosa Soprana.
