Prato Nevoso, a ski town in the Maritime Alps, is at the centre of Mondolé Ski, the large district in the Monregalese Valleys which comprises over 130 km of ski runs, equipped with avant-garde structures and facilities. Prato Nevoso owes the presence of the powdery snow loved by off-piste skiers and ski touring enthusiasts to its geographic position and excellent exposure. The pride and joy of this resort are the area of runs 1 and 2 of the Blue chair-lift, which remain illuminated and open three evenings a week, long with the snowpark positioned in a natural basin in the centre of town. This snowpark, opened in 1987, was one of the first structures dedicated entirely to snowboarders in Italy and it continues to be a point of reference for the national freestyle scene today. With a Pipe, and three areas dedicated to experts, intermediate boarders and beginners, as well as a boardercross track, it is suitable for any kind of rider. The snowpark is served by a four-seater chair-lift and a moving carpet lift which covers the length of the pipe. The overall surface of the snowpark (30,000 square metres) is equipped with machines for the production of artificial snow. The ski schools, ice rink, ice karts, snowmobiles and the big play park on the snow named Pratolandia, not to mention the splendid ski mountaineering itineraries, complete the opportunities offered by this resort, which, by way of the Balma ski-lift and the Malanotte-Prel chair-lift, is connected to the skiing areas of Artesina and Frabosa. In the evening Prato Nevoso continues to live in the numerous bars, restaurants and pubs which, along with the cinema and many other reception facilities, make it one of the most well-known and appreciated tourist resorts in the Maritime Alps.

By plane: Genova C. Colombo (150 km), Milano Malpensa (230 km), Torino Caselle (130 km)
By train: Torino-Savona line, Mondovì station and public service to Prato Nevoso.
By car: A6 Torino-Savona motorway, Mondovì exit. Take the SP5 to Villanova Mondovì, then the SP37 towards Frabosa Sottanaand the SP327 to Prato Nevoso.
