The various collections that make up the treasures of the Municipal Museum take visitors on a journey through different periods in history: archaeological finds from Villa del Foro and from the Tortonese area, a collection of sculptures, religious ornaments from the St. Pio V church, Flemish tapestries and objects dating back to the Napoleonic era. The picture gallery houses important XVI XVII century paintings, as well as works by Francesco Mensi, Carlo Carrà, Pellizza da Volpedo, Aligi Sassu and Bruno Cassinari. A room of the palace is devoted to ancient, modern and contemporary prints.
