Bosco Marengo

The native home of Antonio Ghislieri, who became Pope Pio V in 1566, has been transformed into a small museum by his fellow townsmen. Inside this house-museum, we can see relics, his vestments, ancient books and ornaments. A frescoed chapel has been created in one of the rooms of the upper floor, where every year the congregation gather to pray to Saint Pio V on the anniversary of his death.
