Villanova Mondovì

The Dossi cave is located on the slopes of Monte Calvario. It is the first cave in the province of Cuneo to be discovered by a hunter and was also the first electrically lit cave of Italy. The one-kilometre visitable area is divided into an extraordinary series of corridors and large rooms decorated with multicoloured concretions of unbelievable shades of colour, which make this cave brightly coloured.
