Raccolta Permanente della Casa delle Memorie (Mango)

This museum, which is located inside the former presbytery of the town, houses a collection of objects and documents connected with the recent past of this area, which are grouped thematically inside three rooms: the Resistance, rural schools during the fascist period and emigration. Two ethnographic rooms, which house a reconstruction of an early XX century kitchen and bedroom, complete the exhibition. Temporary exhibitions are held inside a dedicated area of the museum, which has been significantly named “Nido dell’artista” (Artist’s nest) since it is chiefly addressed to young artists.
