Museo "Carlo Denina" (Revello)
Category: History and archaeology
This Museum houses a collection of publications, prints and mementoes related to Denina’s work, as well as a series of frescoes in the Marquis’ chapel. Denina was a professor of Italian oratory and Greek literature from 1770 to 1777. This late-Gothic building is decorated with late XV cventury paintings, which had been commissioned by Marchioness Marguerite de Foix. These paintings depict scenes from the lives of St Luis IX (patron saint of France) and St Margaret d’Antiochia, as well as portraying family everyday life of the Marquisate.
