Centro Culturale Angelo Brofferio e Museo "Me ritorn" (Castelnuovo Calcea)

In 2002, to celebrate the bicentennial of the birth of Angelo Brofferio, the cultural centre and annexed “Me ritorn” museum were opened. They house writings, documents, books and other items which belong to Brofferio’s family and to the illustrious man himself, born in Castelnuovo Calcea in 1802. A lawyer and lover of poetry and theatre, Brofferio was also a member of the Sub alpine Parliament in 1848.
