Ceres

The exhibit has the goal of promoting the local culture and territory, of rediscovering its traditions and ancient occupations through everyday objects and work tools in a tour that has been organized into different themes: the Valli di Lanzo, the people, plant farming and animal farming, craftsmanship, flora, fauna, and mineralogy. In order to make the reconstructions of scenes from a bygone life more interesting, old maps and period photos have been included. Particularly curious is a collection of nails which in olden times were forged in the valley and then exported throughout Italy.
