Germagnano

The collection documents, with everyday objects (tools used to gather chestnuts, for farm work, for animal breeding, and for forestry work), the life of a town and of an area during the pre-industrial era. The exhibit, created thanks to the initiative of the town’s residents to locate objects used for gathering and processing chestnuts, grew with time and is now divided into three sections. The first section brings together the tools necessary for farm work and animal breeding; the second section is dedicated to woodsman and woodworking; the third section instead reconstructs a carpentry workshop, including partially-worked objects.
