Foro Boario (Nizza Monferrato)

Built at the end of the 19th century, the Foro (Forum) is located on the upper part of the central Piazza Garibaldi. It is characterized by a walled structure covered with a framework arch where round arches follow one after the other. The Foro Boario, today the perfect seat for folklore and wine and food events, is the commercial symbol of the area. On the third Sunday of every month in fact, it hosts an important antiques market; during the month of May, the traditional wine and food review “Monferrato in Tavola” (“Monferrato at the Table”) is held.
