Buildings of historical importance
Villa Tornaforte (Cuneo)
Category: Buildings of historical importance
Villa Tornaforte is located not far from Cuneo, in the outlying hamlet of Madonna dell’Olmo. Originally an Augustinian convent; it went to Count Bruno di Tronaforte after the French occupation and expropriation of the church’s assets, who turned it into a vacation spot. The property is surrounded by a large English-style park filled with magnificent prized plants.
