The Fondazione (Foundation) Camillo Cavour has promoting the study of Cavour as its goal, as well as initiatives aimed at spreading knowledge of the work carried out by the Piemonte statesman. Besides this, it is also the custodian of the Castello (Castle) of Cavour- a museum-home where generations of daily life in the Benso di Santena family took place, the tomb of Cavour declared a national monument, the Diplomatic Hall, the Benso Tower, and the extensive Parco Monumentale. Besides the furniture and precious furnishings, the Castle preserves a major library as well as an archive on Camillo Benso and the various branches of his family.
