Trivero

The Oasi Zegna (Zegna reserve) was set up in 1993, planned by the Zegna Group for the defence, enhancement and promotion of the mountain district. Deeply linked to his homeland, Ermenegildo Zegna worked to bring life back to the mountains and the mountains back to the people of Biella. He decided to repopulate the bare areas with over half a million conifers, rhododendrons and hydrangeas, contributing to recreate the Alpine landscape. The Oasi Zegna, which covers an area of about 100 km2 between Trivero and the Cervo Valley, covering the eastern part of the Biella Alps, is an open-air workshop where old and new generations are taught to love and respect nature, and, along with it, the history and traditions of the mountain. For sports enthusiasts, there are specialised accommodation centres and facilities which enable adults and children alike to spend an entire day surrounded by and in contact with nature.
